The Outage or U mong pa meung is a 2011 Thai Drama movie starring Mario Maurer, Ananda Averingham, Pongpat Wachirabunjong, Dome Heathakun and Petchtai Wongkamlao. This movie was released in Thailand on September 11, 2011. This movie was directed by M.L. Pundhevanop Dhewakul. In the wake of a heated murder trial, a young monk seeks refuge from a storm in a deserted burial tunnel, where a conversation with a poor man and a beggar reveals three distinctly different versions of the events leading up to the killing. A warlord has been murdered, and as the trial gets underway the testimonies of his wife, the bandit Singh Khan and a shaman with the power to call on the victim's spirit only serve to obscure the truth, rather than clarifying it. Deeply perplexed after hearing all of the testimonies, a young monk embarks on a journey to seek his father's counsel as a storm blows in. Fortunately for him, a nearby burial tunnel provides a place to rest until the storm has passed. In the process of seeking shelter, the monk crosses paths with a common man who also testified at the trial. Later, the two men are joined by an elderly beggar who engages them both in a heated discussion about the trial. Over the course of their conversation, the stories of the wife, the bandit, and the shaman are all recounted in great detail, revealing the personal agendas of all three. Later, as the stories draw to a close and the clouds begin to clear, the troubled young monk grows increasingly perplexed by the nature of the truth not only as it applies to the trial, but the very core of his belief system as well.

O pen Water is a 2003 American psychological horror drama film. The story concerns an American couple who go scuba diving while on vacation in the Caribbean, only to find themselves stranded miles from shore in shark-infested waters when the crew of their boat accidentally leaves them behind. The film is loosely based on the true story of Tom and Eileen Lonergan, who in 1998 went out with a scuba diving group, Outer Edge Dive Company, on the Great Barrier Reef, and were accidentally left behind because the dive-boat crew failed to take an accurate headcount. The film was financed by the husband and wife team of writer/director Chris Kentis and producer Laura Lau, both avid scuba divers. It cost $120,000 to make and was bought by Lions Gate Entertainment for $2.5 million after its screening at the Sundance Film Festival. Lions Gate spent a further $8 million on distribution and marketing. The film ultimately grossed $55 million worldwide (including $30 million from the North American box office alone). Before filming began, the Lonergans' experience was re-created for an episode of ABC's 20/20, and the segment was repeated after the release of Open Water. Clips from the film were also featured on NBC in "Troubled Waters", a Dateline episode (July 7, 2008) with Matt Lauer interviewing two professional divers, Richard Neely and Ally Dalton, who were left adrift at the Great Barrier Reef by a dive boat on May 21, 2008. D aniel Kintner (Daniel Travis) and Susan Watkins (Blanchard Ryan) are a couple frustrated that their hard-working lives do not allow them to spend much time together. They decide to head out on a scuba-diving vacation to help improve their relationship. On their second day, they join a group scuba dive. A head count is taken, and the passenger total is recorded as 20. Daniel and Susan decide to separate briefly from the group while underwater. Half an hour later, the group returns to the boat. Two members of the group are inadvertently counted twice, so the dive master thinks everyone is back on board, and the boat leaves the site. However, Daniel and Susan are still underwater, unaware that the others have returned. When they resurface, the boat has gone. They believe the group will soon return to recover them. Stranded at sea, it slowly dawns on Daniel and Susan that their boat is not coming back for them. They bicker, battle bouts of hunger and mental exhaustion, and realize that they have probably drifted far from the dive site. They also realize that sharks have been circling them below the surface. Soon, jellyfish appear, stinging them both, while sharks come in close. Susan receives a small shark bite on the leg, but does not immediately realize it. Daniel goes under and discovers a small fish feeding on the exposed flesh of her bite wound. He does not tell Susan. Later, a shark bites Daniel and the wound begins to bleed profusely. Susan removes her weight belt and uses it to apply pressure to Daniel's wound. He appears to go into shock. The tight-fitting neoprene wet suits are apparently keeping them from fully realizing they have been sustaining small bites. After night falls, sharks return and attack Daniel during a storm, killing him. The next morning, Daniel and Susan's belongings are finally noticed on the boat by a crew member. He remembers the couple and realizes they must have been left at the dive site. A search for the couple begins. Susan realizes Daniel is dead and releases him into the water, where sharks attack and pull him down in a feeding frenzy. After putting on her mask, she looks beneath the surface and sees several large sharks now circling her. Susan looks around one last time for any sign of coming rescue. Seeing none, she removes her scuba gear and goes underwater to drown before the sharks can attack. Elsewhere, a fishing crew cut open a newly-caught shark's stomach, finding a diving camera, apparently that of Daniel and Susan. One of the fishermen asks offhandedly to another, "Wonder if it works?

F riday the 13th is a 2009 American slasher film written by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, and directed by Marcus Nispel. The film is a reboot of the Friday the 13th film series, which began in 1980, and is the twelfth installment in the film series. Nispel also directed the 2003 remake of Tobe Hooper's The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974), while Shannon and Swift had written the screenplay for the 2003 crossover Freddy vs. Jason. Friday the 13th follows Clay Miller (Jared Padalecki) as he searches for his missing sister, Whitney (Amanda Righetti), who is captured by Jason Voorhees (Derek Mears) while camping in woodland at Crystal Lake. The 2009 film was originally conceived as an origin story, but the project evolved into a re-imagining of the first four Friday the 13th films. The character Jason Voorhees was redesigned as a lean, quick killer with a backstory that allows the viewer to feel a little sympathy for him, but not enough that he would lose his menace. In keeping with the tone of the film, Jason's mask was recreated from a mold of the original mask used for Part III; though there were subtle changes. Friday the 13th includes some of Harry Manfredini's musical score from the previous Friday the 13th films because the producers recognized its iconic status.[6] Friday the 13th was released in theaters on Friday, February 13, 2009.[7] It received mainly negative reviews and earned approximately US$19 million on its opening night and $40 million during its opening weekend, when it broke two records; the highest-earning opening day for the film series and the highest-earning opening weekend for any horror film. As of July 2014, it is the second-highest grossing film in the Friday the 13th film series ($65 million), and has earned over $92 million worldwide.

O n June 13, 1980, a young Jason Voorhees (Caleb Guss) watches as his mother Pamela (Nana Visitor) is beheaded by a camp counselor (Stephanie Rhodes), who was trying to escape Mrs. Voorhees's murder spree around Camp Crystal Lake. Almost thirty years later, a group of friends—Wade (Jonathan Sadowski), Richie (Ben Feldman), Mike (Nick Mennell), Whitney (Amanda Righetti) and Amanda (America Olivo)—arrive at Crystal Lake on a camping trip to search for marijuana growing in the woods. That night, an adult Jason (Derek Mears), kills everyone except Whitney, whom he captures since she resembles his mother at a young age. Six weeks later, Trent (Travis Van Winkle), his girlfriend Jenna (Danielle Panabaker), and friends Chelsea (Willa Ford), Bree (Julianna Guill), Chewie (Aaron Yoo), Nolan (Ryan Hansen), and Lawrence (Arlen Escarpeta) arrive at Trent's summer cabin on the shore of Crystal Lake. Meanwhile, Whitney's brother Clay Miller (Jared Padalecki) arrives at the lake to search for her. Clay visits Trent's cabin, and Jenna agrees to help him search for Whitney. As they search, Jason kills Chelsea and Nolan while they are wakeboarding on the lake. Clay and Jenna search the old Crystal Lake campgrounds where they see Jason hauling a body into the abandoned camp house. Jenna and Clay run to warn the others about Jason, who arrives and disconnects the cabin's electricity. Jason kills Chewie and Lawrence outside the cabin and sneaks inside and kills Bree. Trent, Clay, and Jenna escape the cabin, but Trent is killed when he reaches the main road. Jason chases Clay and Jenna back to the campgrounds, where Clay discovers Jason's lair and finds his sister chained to a wall. Clay frees Whitney, and all three try to escape as Jason arrives. They find an exit, but Jenna is killed before she can escape. Jason corners Clay and Whitney; Whitney confuses Jason by pretending to be Pamela, then stabs him in the chest with his own machete. Clay dumps Jason's "corpse" into the lake, but before Clay and Whitney leave, Jason bursts through the wooden dock and grabs Whitney.

Blade Runner 2049 is a 2017 American neo-noir science fiction film directed by Denis Villeneuve and written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green.A sequel to the 1982 film Blade Runner, the film stars Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford, with Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, Dave Bautista and Jared Leto in supporting roles. Set thirty years after the original film, the story depicts a bioengineered human named K, who discovers the remains of a once-pregnant replicant. To prevent a possible war between replicants and humans, K is secretly tasked with finding the child and destroying all evidence related to it. Principal photography took place in Budapest, Hungary between July and November 2016. Blade Runner 2049 premiered in Los Angeles on October 3, 2017 and was released in the United States on October 6, 2017, in 2D, 3D and IMAX. The film received acclaim from critics, with some regarding it as one of the best sequels ever made, and has grossed $194 million worldwide. In 2049, bioengineered humans called replicants have been integrated into society as servants and slaves. K is a Nexus-9 replicant who works as a 'blade runner' for the LAPD, hunting down and 'retiring' rogue older model replicants. He lives with a holographic girlfriend Joi, an artificial intelligence product of the Wallace Corporation, the current manufacturer of replicants which bought out the bankrupt Tyrell Corporation, pioneer in this field. K's investigation into a growing replicant freedom movement leads him to a farm, where he retires rogue Nexus-8 replicant Sapper Morton and finds a buried box. A forensic analysis reveals the box contains the remains of a female Nexus-7 replicant who died during an emergency caesarean section. K's superior, Lieutenant Joshi, orders K to destroy all evidence related to the case and to retire the child, believing the knowledge that replicants are able to reproduce (which was thought to be impossible) could lead to an interspecies war. K visits the headquarters of Wallace Corporation, where the deceased female is identified from old DNA archives as Rachael, an experimental replicant designed by Dr. Tyrell before his death. K learns of Rachael's romantic ties with former veteran blade runner Rick Deckard. Seeking the secret to reproduction in replicants —which they are unable to duplicate— in order to expand his off-world operations, the company's CEO Niander Wallace sends his replicant enforcer Luv to steal Rachael's remains from LAPD headquarters and follow K to find Rachael's child. Returning to Morton's farm to destroy it, K finds Rachael's date of death, that he recognizes from one of his childhood memories about a wooden toy horse. Joi insists that this coincidence is evidence that K is a real person and not a replicant, which have implanted memories. While searching through birth records from that year, he discovers that twins were born on that day with identical DNA except for the sex chromosome, but only the boy is listed as alive. Tracking evidence of the child to an orphanage in ruined San Diego, K discovers its records from the relevant year have been removed. K also recognizes the orphanage from his memories, and finds the wooden horse where he remembers hiding it. K seeks out Dr. Ana Stelline, the leading designer of replicant memories, who confirms that his memory of the orphanage is real. This leads K to believe that he is Rachael's son. At LAPD headquarters, K fails a test for his replicant obedience, but claims that he failed the test because he was emotional from completing his mission to kill the child. Joshi gives him 48 hours before he is retired, pending the results of his next test. Preparing to flee, K transfers Joi to a mobile emitter on her request. K has the wooden horse analyzed, which reveals traces of radiation that lead him to the ruins of Las Vegas. There he finds Deckard, who reveals that he is the father of Rachael's child, and that he scrambled the birth records to protect the child's identity before leaving it in the custody of the replicant freedom movement. After killing Joshi, Luv and her men track K to Deckard's location. They kidnap Deckard, permanently destroy Joi and leave a severely wounded K for dead. The replicant freedom movement, who also tracked K, rescue him. Their leader Freysa informs him that Rachael's child is a girl and thus cannot be K. In order to ensure that Deckard does not lead Wallace to Rachael's daughter or to the replicant freedom movement, Freysa orders K to terminate Deckard. Deckard is brought before Wallace, who offers him a clone of Rachael as a reward for revealing what he knows. When Deckard refuses to cooperate, Wallace orders Luv to kill Rachael's clone and escort Deckard off-world to be tortured for information. K intercepts them, fights and kills Luv, but not before he is mortally injured by her. K stages Deckard's death to protect him from both Wallace and the replicants. He then leads Deckard to Stelline's office, having deduced that she's his daughter. The two part ways with K lamenting that his best memories belong to her. Deckard cautiously enters the office and approaches Stelline, while K succumbs to his wounds in peace.

A young boy ventures into an old relic shop, where he meets the mysterious owner, Mr. Liu, who begins to tell the boy the legend of Ninjago. Ninjago is a city in the Lego Universe that is frequently attacked by the evil Lord Garmadon, who is the father of Lloyd Garmadon and husband of Koko. Ninjago despises Lloyd for being Lord Garmadon's son, which puts Lloyd under emotional stress. They do not know that Lloyd is part of the secret ninja force, consisting of Nya, Zane, Jay, Cole, Kai and their master named Master Wu who always stop Garmadon from taking over the city. On Lloyd's birthday, Garmadon attacks the city once again only to be defeated. He escapes and fires the Shark Army for failing to help him. He then begins to plan a big attack to conquer Ninjago, and decides to build a gigantic mech that is immune to weapons. Meanwhile, Lloyd and his friends see the return of Master Wu, back from his long trip. Master Wu tells them they aren't real ninjas if they use only mechs and machines. He discusses with Lloyd that his element is green, confusing Lloyd. Master Wu tells Lloyd he must not be angry at Garmadon; he must use his mind to fight. Wu mentions an Ultimate Weapon, giving Lloyd the hope of defeating Garmadon once and for all, despite being forbidden to use the weapon. The next day Garmadon attacks the city with his giant mech and defeats Lloyd. As Garmadon declares his rule over Ninjago, Lloyd returns with the Ultimate Weapon. He fires it, revealing it to be a laser that attracts a real-life cat named Meowthra. Meowthra starts destroying the city while trying to get the laser. Garmadon points the laser to make the cat destroy the other mechs, before Lloyd breaks it. As Garmadon celebrates his victory, Lloyd reveals that he is the Green Ninja, and tells Garmadon that he wishes he wasn't his father, leaving Garmadon confused. Lloyd meets up with his friends and Master Wu, who are all upset with him for using the weapon. Wu tells them they must use an Ultimate, Ultimate Weapon to stop Meowthra from destroying the city, which they would reach by crossing the Forest of Dangers, the Canyon of Death, and the Temple of Fragile Foundations. Garmadon overhears Wu talking about the weapon and follows close behind. He meets up with Wu and fights him, only to end up in a cage, defeated. However, Wu loses his balance and falls off a bridge into a river, telling Lloyd he must use inner peace before getting swept away. The ninjas decide to continue on, with Garmadon leading them much to Lloyd's disappointment. They are caught by the Shark Army, who want revenge. The ninjas try to fight, but are easily defeated. They retreat leaving Lloyd and Garmadon behind to be caught by the Shark Army. The Shark Army begin to fire Lloyd and Garmadon into a volcano. However, the rest of the ninjas save the day using stealth fighting. They all work together with Garmadon to escape the angry Shark Army by building a makeshift helicopter, and Lloyd and Garmadon bond together in the process. They eventually crash down onto the Temple of Fragile Foundations. Garmadon reveals that it is his home, as well as Koko formerly being a ninja warrior herself. He reveals to Lloyd that he wishes he had stayed with him and his mom after deciding to conquer Ninjago, but he couldn't change so he had to stay behind. The ninjas find the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon, consisting of a set of trinkets, only to have it stolen by Garmadon who still wants to take over the city. He wants Lloyd to be his general, but Lloyd rejects his offer. Out of fury, Garmadon locks all of them in the temple as it begins to collapse. Lloyd realizes that inner peace means for them to unleash their power within, and they successfully do this, escaping from the collapsing temple. As they fall of a cliff, Wu saves them with his ship, and they head towards Ninjago. Garmadon arrives and tries to control Meowthra with the weapons but Meowthra eats Garmadon instead. Lloyd and the crew arrive and begin fighting Garmadon's army. As Lloyd approaches Meowthra, he reveals to everyone that he is the green ninja, and realizes that green means life, which brings everything together. He comforts Meowthra and tells Garmadon he forgives him and that he's sorry. Garmadon cries tears of fire, which causes Meowthra to spit him out. After reconciling, Garmadon moves in with Lloyd and Koko, Meowthra becomes the mascot of Ninjago, and Lloyd is hailed as a hero. As the story concludes, Mr. Liu tells the boy that he will start to train him as a ninja.

Bradley Thomas (Vince Vaughn) is a former alcoholic and drug dealer, who is now working as a tow truck driver. One day, he gets laid off and comes home to find his wife, Lauren (Jennifer Carpenter), sitting in her car, contemplating leaving him. Bradley asks to see her phone, which she gives to him. As he's scrolling through it, Lauren tells him that she's been seeing someone else. Bradley asks her to go into the house, which she does, then proceeds to physically attack the car. He punches out her windshield, a headlight and rips the hood off the car. He goes into the house and has a calm conversation with Lauren, trying to figure out what made her decide to cheat on him. Bradley decides to forgive Lauren and to make ends meet, decides to go back to drug dealing. Eighteen months later, Lauren is pregnant. Bradley and Lauren are now living in a larger, more expensive home. Bradley's boss, Gil (Marc Blucas), gives him a new assignment. Bradley is to go with two men to pick up a shipment. Bradley doesn't trust the two men, but is urged by Gil to do the job, as it will lead to more money and more business. During the job, Bradley and the two men pick up the shipment by boat. As they drop the boat off at the pier, the two men take one of the bags and head to the car as Bradley ties up the boat. Suddenly, the police show up and engage in a firefight with the two men. Bradley has a chance to leave, as the police have not spotted him. But, after remembering that no one was supposed to be harmed, decides to stop the two men. One is killed by the police and the other is killed by Bradley. Bradley is taken into custody and ultimately sent to prison. He winds up at a medium security prison. One day, he is visited by a man, (Udo Kier), only known as the Placid Man, who tells Bradley he works for the boss of the two men that were killed in the shootout. He tells Bradley that Lauren has been kidnapped. The Placid Man informs Bradley that unless he kills a particular inmate, his unborn child will be killed and pieces will be sent to him in packages. Bradley decides to take the job. The Placid Man tells Bradley that the inmate is actually in a different maximum security prison and is in cell block 99. Bradley picks a fight with a guard, brutally breaking his arm. As he is restrained and being taken away, Bradley fights with the other guards, until he's overpowered and sent to the other prison. There, he meets Warden Tuggs (Don Johnson), who forces Bradley to strip naked and is subjected to a cavity search, this all happening outside of the prison entrance. Bradley is put into a horrible cell, where the toilet has been clogged with feces. The smell being so overwhelming, Bradley is forced to take off his undershirt and wrap it around his nose. Eventually, he is able to go outside for yard time. There, he picks a fight with some inmates, so that he can be thrown into Cell Block 99. Bradley is eventually forced to wear a belt that will give him electric shocks every so often, as punishment for the fight. His cell in block 99 is lined with broken glass and Bradley is given an electric shock that forces him to the ground, where his knees are pierced with pieces of glass. Bradley devises a plan and takes the lining from his shoes and puts them against his body where the electric belt is that he is wearing, that way he won't be shocked. The plan works, but he accidentally kills one of the guards when he slams a door on his face when he tries to escape. Bradley locks the other guard in his cell. Bradley goes and meets with the boss of the men who he assaulted earlier (revealed to be the man who hired Bradley for the initial job that landed him in prison, who has been able to get into the prison to deal with Bradley). Bradley fights with his henchmen, leading to him stepping on the back of one of the men's heads and dragging it across the pavement, leaving that man's face disfigured, with bone and skull showing. Bradley fights another henchman and slams his foot down on that man's face, brutally dislodging his jaw, killing him. Bradley grabs the boss and takes him back to his cell. Bradley takes the man's phone and calls The Placid Man to negotiate for Lauren's freedom. Warden Tuggs arrives at the entrance to block 99, but Bradley threatens to kill the remaining guard, if he and any other guards comes in. Lauren is delivered to Gil, who in turn, kills The Placid Man. Bradley then speaks to Lauren for the last time, as well as sharing a few words with their unborn child. After knowing Lauren is safe, Bradley grabs the boss and places his head over a hole (which is, apparently, the toilet in the cell) and stomps on his head, brutally decapitating him. The captured guard runs from the cell, and Warden Tuggs enters into the cell. Accepting his fate, Bradley gives one last look at Tuggs, before Tuggs shoots Bradley three times, once in the chest and once in the head. The screen goes to black as we hear the third gunshot and hear Bradley's body hit the floor.

Mills Goodloe, based on the novel of the same name by Charles Martin. It stars Idris Elba and Kate Winslet as a surgeon and a journalist, respectively, who survive a plane crash, with a dog, and are stranded in High Uintas Wilderness with injuries and harsh weather conditions. The film premiered on September 9, 2017 at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival, and was theatrically released in the United States on October 6, 2017, by 20th Century Fox. After the cancellation of their flights out of Boise Airport due to stormy weather, Dr. Ben Bass (Idris Elba) and photojournalist Alex Martin (Kate Winslet) contact Walter (Beau Bridges), a local private pilot in order to get to Alex's wedding (scheduled for the following day) and Ben's emergency surgery appointment in Baltimore, Maryland. They board an uncharted flight with Walter's dog. During the flight, however, Walter suffers a stroke. The plane crashes on top of a mountain with Ben, Alex and the dog surviving the incident with injuries. Walter does not survive the crash. Ben tends to Alex's wounds and realizes they must come down from the mountaintop for any hope of survival. Alex asks Ben to leave her behind as he has a better chance of surviving to which Ben refuses. Instead, he climbs a peak in order to see if there are any structures nearby. On his descent he nearly falls off a cliff face. Alex and the dog are then attacked by a cougar with the dog receiving some wounds. The cougar then enters the plane wreckage with Alex on board. Fortunately, she fires a flare into the cougar before it attacks. Ben returns to find a blood trail. Realizing Alex is in danger, he rushes towards the plane and finds Alex and the dog alive. He provides medical attention to the dog and later retrieves the body of the cougar to eat. Stranded alone together for days and with little food, they find strength in each other to keep pressing forward in the snow and cold. Alex declares that help is no longer coming and decides to leave the mountain while Ben refuses, stating that their best chance of survival and being found reside with the wreckage. After a heated argument, they both sleep with Alex resolving that she will leave. At first light, she proceeds to leave the wreckage and start a descent down the mountain. Ben wakes and gives chase, eventually catching up with Alex and they make up over past grievances. While making shelter in a cave, Alex uses her camera to locate a man-made structure and spots a reflective material flashing at her. They agree to make it down to this structure. Eventually, they find an abandoned cabin where they take shelter. The first time Ben leaves Alex alone in the cabin, she goes through his personal things and finds a voicemail recording from his wife. Ben catches Alex in the act. She says she didn't mean to be nosy but says she just wants to know something about him, especially since he has disclosed so little about himself and he never talks about his wife. He finally tells her his wife died two years ago from a brain tumor. When Ben tells Alex he is going outside to get more wood for the fire, the culmination of all of their experiences together finally overcomes them. No longer able to resist each other, they make love. As Ben sleeps after their loving, Alex takes his picture. Deciding that they still won't make it, Alex again asks Ben to leave her behind to find help and return. Ben initially agrees but has regrets about leaving her behind just for a moment. He returns once more and they begin to press forward again. As they make their way down, Alex begins to tire quickly. However, Ben still refuses to leave her behind. They fall asleep in the woods. Eventually, they find a timber cutter yard on the mountain and they make their way to it. Ben gets his leg caught in a bear trap. Alex keeps going and she's rescued by a truck driver, who goes back and rescues Ben. Ben wakes up in the hospital and goes to Alex's room where he sees her and Mark. Mark praises Ben for saving Alex to which Ben replies she saved him and leaves the room, heartbroken. Some time after, Mark tells Alex that "I told myself that if you ever lost a part of you (an arm or leg in her dangerous job as a photojournalist), I would still love you." But now, it's obvious to him that he has lost her heart. Alex tries calling Ben, but he declines her phone calls until he receives pictures of him and Alex on a mountain. This encourages Ben to call Alex. They meet up in Manhattan, where it is revealed that Alex is now a part-time teacher who is uncomfortable flying and Ben is now working as a consultant in trauma clinics as his frostbitten hands have not recovered enough for him to operate. Ben admits that he did not call her back because he thought she would be married, and Alex responds by saying she loved Ben while they were together on the mountain and that she and Mark never married. Ben cannot admit to himself that he wants her back, and they part ways after a hug. As they are walking away, they regret it and turn around, running back into each other's arms, confirming that they will get together.
